Black screen since Windows 10 [Solved]

No I can play online but it's difficult..
Mayben my name is Horza FR in the game

Since this morning, impossible to lauch the game.
I uninstall it, delete all files and downloads.
I will install your last patch and try

Well after reinstall the game and install the last patch I played online with no lag problem.
I understood where was the problem.
I said I tried to play with resolution on 640*480 but in the file options (C/ programm files...), didn't work.

Well this morning I played and wanted to change parameters and graphisms (at the top).
And after, black screen.
Black screen appears when I put the resolution screen (in options game) at the top (1920*1080).
Well now I'm on 800*600.

in 1920*1080, you see more things but if all works on 800*600, it's good for you

Yeah, I know, I'll try to see what the highest resolution screen doesn't lag

This game was made for WinXP, not Win10 so you will see your game lag, even you have a 100GB ram. My screen resolution is 1200*800, no lag at all

Windows 10 crash solution Battlefield 1942 and Retro Games Fans!


A. I saw on some versions of Windows 10 (but also about Windows 8 and 8.1) you do (must) also run FH "as an administrator for all users"
For that do:
Click mouse's right button FH icon (shortcut)
Click "Compatibility"
Select "Run this program as an administrator"
Click "Change settings for all users"
Then you can see "Compatibility for all users"
Click (tick) "Run this program as an administrator"
Click "Apply" then click "OK"
Then restart (reboot) your computer.

B.But if you want to install "Battlefield 1942" on a fresh install of Windows 10 or after a new upgrade of windows 10 (in reality a new version of Windows 10)
you do (must) activate "Direct Play".

B1. Navigate to:
Control Panel

B2. In left part of the page click:
"Turn Windows features on or off"

B3.You can see a window named (with name):
"Windows features"

B4. Click "Legacy Components"

B5. Then select "DirectPlay"

B6. Then restart (reboot) your PC.
