Name tag font size

If you find player names too small at higher resolution, try to replace Font.rfa in "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Archives\" with the one in zip

I've installed it - played a couple of maps - and gave it the boot.

Why? Those rly big fonts reveal the position of everybody around me ways too "noisy".

I might be older - eyesight still next to perfect...

Now, you'll excuse me - some-one chugged a yellow ball up in the sky. Wonder whats this all about. Will be back soon...

Wanders off trailing that ball thingie...

it depends on the resolution really, the higher the resolution the smaller the text gets.

do you have something for the chat in bf1942? It is sometimes unreadable..

Me too. Is there a fix for chat in bf1942 being hardly readable at higher res- apart from jumping to console to see if you can catch the text there. Also in console is there a way for it not to error and lose previous text, a larger buffer size for text?

Thanks Vicar... i love it as i play on 1920x1080 and really cannot read a bloody thing without your nifty patch! THANKS!

I am also using the BF1942 HD version.. with some nicer icons textures and such for higher resolutions.
